March Sadhana
Dear Loves,
There is a language within you that does not speak in words but in sensation, impulse, and movement. It is the ancient rhythm of your body—the primal knowing that has always been there, waiting for permission to be expressed.
For so much of my life, I held parts of myself back. I swallowed the urge to shake, to sound, to move in ways that didn’t fit into the world’s neat and quiet boxes. But when I finally let my body lead—when I let myself crawl, roll, tremble, and stretch like an untamed river—I found something I didn’t even know I had lost. I found my wildness. I found my freedom. I found a deep, unshakable sense of home.
Primal movement is more than just a practice; it is a reclamation. It is the body’s way of unraveling old stories, releasing stored emotions, and returning to its natural state of flow. It is an invitation to shake off what no longer serves you and to trust in the deep intelligence woven into your bones.
This ritual is a simple way to begin. A way to listen, honor, and give space to what is already alive inside you. May it guide you back to yourself, one instinctual breath, one untamed movement at a time.

Primal Awakening: A Somatic Ritual for Embodying Your Wild Nature
This simple yet potent somatic ritual will guide you into primal movement, awakening your body's instinctual intelligence and reconnecting you with your raw, untamed essence.
The Ritual
-
Set the Space – Find a quiet place where you can move freely. Dim the lights, light a candle, or play rhythmic, earthy music to ground yourself in the moment.
-
Breath & Intention – Stand with feet hip-width apart, soften your knees, and close your eyes. Take deep, slow breaths into your belly. With each inhale, invite vitality; with each exhale, release tension. Set an intention to move from instinct rather than thought.
-
Shake & Release – Begin shaking your body gently, starting with your hands, then arms, shoulders, and legs. Let your jaw loosen, your spine ripple, and your breath follow the movement. Shake away stagnation, activating your primal energy.
-
Instinctual Movement – Drop to all fours and begin exploring movement from your center. Crawl, roll, sway, or stretch—let your body move in ways that feel natural, fluid, and unstructured. Imagine you are an animal reclaiming its wildness.
-
Vocal Expression – Let out deep sighs, hums, or primal sounds as you move. Allow your voice to flow naturally, releasing anything that feels stuck.
-
Integration – Slowly come to a still position, either sitting or lying down. Place your hands on your belly and heart, noticing the aliveness in your body. Breathe deeply, honoring the wisdom of your primal self.
This ritual is an invitation to move beyond the constraints of the mind and into the deep intelligence of your body. Return to it whenever you need to reconnect with your most instinctual, embodied self.
